Music and Arts

SAYCMembers of the Spokane Area Youth Chorus and the Danville Girls Chorus perform during a special worship service.

Westminster is a community supportive of the arts, both in worship and in community service. We have a beautiful building and sanctuary that are on the Historic Register. Westminster has many talented musicians and singers, a bell choir, and spirited worship leaders.

tromboneJonathon Windham accompanies the choir on trombone during one of their performances.

The 10:30 am Worship Service music is led by the piano, sometimes with organ and an all volunteer choir each Sunday. Various Instrumentalists add to the worship music, and we encourage young musicians to share their developing talents. In the summer months especially various musical offereings by our talented members add to the mix.

The Spokane Area Youth Chorus resides in our building and sometimes shares their gift of song with us. The church sponsors a benefit concert each year, Jam for Bread, bringing in local musicians to raise money for local agencies serving at risk members of our city.  Although, as of 2019, Jam for Bread has been retired.
